Dazzler's actually a pretty powerful superheroine in her own right. I mean, she can generate laser beams that can slice through, well, almost anything and, lately, she's shown the ability to manifest things composed of solid light energy. For instance, in the latest issue of New Excalibur, she fought with a katana made out of harnessed light energy. It was actually pretty tight.
