Berden gaat niet meer op topniveau komen, anders had hij dat al lang bereikt. Hij is inmiddels al een paar jaar terug, en hij komt niet meer in de top 10. Af en toe rijdt hij nog een goede cross, zoals in Gieten. Maar verder dan een figurantenrol komt hij niet.

All these top pros are doping...when I was racing in amateur in France years ago, the doping was even bad in the amateur ranks. Sad. Such a great sport, but it's all about the drugs now.
