I absolutely love Daniel's Irish films; He and Sheridan really work well together...these films are the most relatable of Daniel's films and Sheridan and Rebecca Miller are the only directors who seem to want to cast DDL in films that take place in a somewhat modern setting. Even Scorese seems to only want Daniel for period piece...Why wasn't he offered a role in the "Departed"?

But i can see how anyone could be mistaken cuz he's such a great actor, for years I thought he was from Ireland (of which he's now a citizen), hes from London originally.

awsome actor my favourite villian bill the butcher and for there will be blood made me laugh i heard he might take over the jokers rolein batman from heath. i can seee the huge line up into the parking lot at the movies now. Great actor.
