@linkward Maybe not everyone wants to make 'great music'.

@thelastmac09 You're very rude. Lol, I've already mastered every aspect of Max, that comment is a week old sir. Good day.

@DiegoDouglasIce so then dont get max. there are plenty of ways to automate your LFO...none of which require M4L, so get your head out of your ass.
-
@linkward Maybe some people have the interest and the drive to dedicate to music and any number of other hobbies, including but not limited to building max synths/effects, ice sculpting and wind surfing.
-
I just want to be able to automate the LFO on my synth and I don't care about Max n shit I'm not a programmer I'm a producer...

@linkward That's stupid, somebody makes those VSTs and samples too.
Max for Live is a great tool for engineers and geeks but if you are here to make great music it' just going to waste your time. We already have everything needed to make top10 Beatport music or Billboard hits, sampling,VST's, sidechaining etc all at home...Like David Guetta once said in a interview "I was talking with Laidback Luke about Max and he was like , huum I dont really care, I am not here to create synth, all I want is to make good music "

@linkward A very intriguing comment. In some ways I agree. I'm a saxophone player. Does this mean I need to know how to build a saxophone to enjoy playing it or make great music? No! However, Max offers creative possibilities that are definitely not possible within Live itself that I believe empower us to make even more amazing music. What if no one ever bothered to invent a saxophone and said that violins and oboes were all we needed to make Billboard hits? We would have missed out big!
