  • WOW! I've never seen a utility direct bury cable like that. Here in California, PG&E always installs conduit for cable.

  • @SkyFitsHeaven24 It is the same in Ontario CANADA.

  • Where I live (in Western NY) the electricians (not utility workers) have to install underground service cables from the meter base all the way to the transformer or junction box. A red warning tape is buried along with the cable. Also, in my region, underground services have to be installed in 2 in conduit (3 in if a long run or if 400 amp service is installed)

  • we dont do db we install conduit
