Joseph and Nick came rushing at me. Danyelle! they screamed together. yes? I asked weakly, and when they heard my voice they became VERY alarmed. Of coarse you cant really blame them now can you? Youd freak to if youd seen me. I had a black eye, a bruise on my left cheek, and one on my arm. Not to mention I probably have a very nasty one on my back, were one of the big idiots hit me with skate board. So all in all I didnt look good. They immediately rushed to my side. STOP! I screamed as my voice broke, when they got with in nine inches of me. lets just walk. Im not 12 anymore. Yall dont have to hold my hand every time I get hurt. I said as the pain kicked in, so I had try extremely hard not to cry. But the sudden rush of pain made tears start pouring down my face. It was all I could do not to collapse. so what happen? Joe asked. I got in a fight. I tried to say, but I was crying so hard even I couldnt understand what was coming out of my mouth. whaaaaaaaaat? they asked together. I wrote I got in a fight on the back of my skateboard, with the magic marker I pulled out of my pocket.
Joe, I told you! Did I not tell you she was in a fight? Nick exclaimed, not taking his eyes off me. Joe nodded his head and answered my unasked question. his Dany sense was tingling. I did my best not to laugh. Suddenly Nick was dead serious. Danyelle are you okay? Nick asked me in a Dont-even-try- lying-to-me-now tone. Im a very fast healer, so Ill be fine in a couple hours, which is why I said what I said next. Im fine guys I somehow managed through my tears. He, Nick I mean, rolled his eyes which means he is royal P.O.ed. {and no I do not no that as a fact I just made it up because I needed something for the story.} Okay Danyelle, so you just randomly start crying? Come on Dany I know you better then that. Nick practically yelled at me. Nick. Joe cautioned, so low I could barley hear him. No. I deserve it. He should be screaming at me and you should to I should have ignored him in the first place. I wined and just broke down in the middle of the street. Dang it, Nick. Look what you did. Joe said. Nick sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. My melt down disappeared just as suddenly as it had came. Nicholas, Im fine, really dont worry. I said as I calmed down, and got up. and yet Im still worried. Nick said impatiently, as Joes face lit up. oo oo oo can I tell her? Joe asked so excitedly I thought he was gonna pee his pants. Nick nodded patiently, looks like he calmed down too. okay- he started rapidly - so all of us are taking you to this really fancy place to eat, not frilly fancy, but like hot fancy. Joe finished. My jaw dropped. what time are we leaving? I asked calm, cool and collected. between 5:00 and 5:30 and its- he looked at his watch 10:37 now. Nick said. WHAT?!!?!?!? I screamed the total opposite of calm cool and collected. I sprinted home making all my bruises worse. DANY!! I heard the boys shout after me. I abruptly burst through the door. Frankie, Mama J and Courtney were sitting on the couch. Oh yeah Kev was there to. Ma, Court shopping like now! I urged impatiently. Can I come too? Frankie asked.
