@vgperson "Yellowcake" is a uranium powder used in fuel rods for nuclear reactors. Probably not safe to be wearing it. I can see why it would make your attacks hurt more though.

I guess Ponga and Bibi aren't very good Monster Hunters.

The Mech is and I know that sprite is from Saga 2, or Final Fantasy Legend 2. It appears to have been made to look like Utsuho, Also it says Nine on the side LOL.

@vgperson I suspect the "cake" is, in fact, a miniature nuclear reactor or something along those lines, horribly misidentified by Ponga's primitive little kedama brain. I'm actually glad it's stictly equipment, though-- I was worried it was going to be this game's version of the Cola Bottle.

@LivingArmor Yellow Cake is just an accessory for attack +20, defense +10, and IQ -30 (Okuu ww). I'm not sure I understand why you get a spongy cake from an Utsuho mech, though.
Bulletshot beats Jumboshot beats Scaleshot beats Kayshot beats Plainshot.

@Shadow9808 He looked more horny than pissed to me, but whatever.
@vgperson That optional boss was way better than some crappy palette-swapped mammoth. Does the "Yellow Cake" do anything when used, or is it just an accessory? Is the Bulletshot stronger than the Jumboshot?
Answers the age-old question: What sneaks up on an F.O.E.? Why, the superboss from FF1 that nobody ever finds by looking for it, of course!

@rubino83 While you wouldn't quite be able to tell this from sniffing in-game, unlike normal enemies (which approach you), Utsuho's movement pattern is half moving randomly and half moving AWAY from Ponga. She also moves around significantly faster. So I'd say you pretty much have to be looking for her. (But at least there's the, er... nuclear scent to tell you something's up.)
