Jackson Central Merry High School (Jackson, TN) Marching Band performing "Robin Hood." Terrible quality, I know, but that's because it was a bad recording to begin with, and I'm using my digital camera to record it off a 13 inch TV.
I remember these good ole days! I did the dancework for this show and went and got the rhinestones for the swords. Remember the tree flags? To the trees! And taking out a few band members with those huge flags at the end? Priceless! JCM used to kick butt and take names!
I feel old watching this. My sister was a freshman, on clarinet. I was at NPMS, in 6th grade. Would someone please put up their performance of Les Miserables, because of that show I feel in love with the music and have been hooked to the Broadway show ever since. I tried the whole band thing at Parkway, flute, just wasn't me, poor Mr Henning I always was loosing it. But singing was and always has been my passion.
I graduated '06. My class was the last class to be able to fully experience JCM the way it used to be if only for a year. We had east and west campus the ag and vocational building. Such a large school, intimidating! The band used to be HUGE!!! It slowly dwindled down while I was there. I think there were 20 or so band members my senior year.
This is from Steven Robinson class of 88 if someone has the 1988 show please put it on,,,,we should still have our JCM pride...
