The assistants are great. Definitely graduates of the Carol Merrill School of Hand-Modeling.

@Rlotpir1972 Dean Goss also went on to sub-announce The $100,000 Pyramid during the final Clark season (right around the time High Rollers was ending). He last sub-announced the first Davidson season of The $100,000 Pyramid.

He did later on in 1986, TimFrith24.

THis version did tape at NBC Burbank during the 1984-85 season, and at Hollywood Center Studios in 1985-86.

Did Monty go on to host Split Second?

@millenniumman75 according to an interview Monty did in 1987, shortly after this, Monty did not mention that he wanted to hand the reigns over to Dean. It was just after a discussion between him and Stefan they both decided to call it a show.

I think the Mitchell Designs made up for the $450 discrepancy.
*I just found out on an Internet interview that Monty in fact wanted to retire from LMAD at the end of this episode, handing the reigns of the show to Dean Goss - having hosted a few deals of his own during the season - for 1986-1987. Telepictures, the syndicator, still wanted Monty to host as he was associated with it. Sadly, this impasse is what ended this version.

You forgot to add in the $450 in wall covering.
You gotta love Monty! One of the best hosts to come out of Canada.
