Just built this Tricopter frame, based on RCExplorer.com's v2.5, but did it with a quad Y4 v-tail on the rear. First real flight (not balancing things and stuff).
Cool vid man, never seen a tri configured like this. I wonder how it flys when you do clock-wise circuits, I find my tricopter prefers counter clock-wise circuits. You notice it when you fly it hard.
Jeff i love your subtitles! aha i showed my fam they all laughed. :) i flew a little while ago. the v2.5 yaw is on and my wires are alot cleaner. it was rock solid! it could almost hover with out any control from me :D i tried those props you gave me. the smaller size is much nicer it feels alot smoother and still have plenty of power i could go another size lower and have enough power i think. although i didnt have my gopro on while i flew. :)

what do you think about putting in some type of quick release pin, to stop the arm from sliding back in flight?
