    Customer Reviews:

The Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II is an excellent value in that of a jazz guitar. It is a hollowbody instrument that has been manufactured for many years, which tells me that it's reputation for quality has stood the test of time. • Nice tone. You sound better w/o the pedals!

  • Sweet sound Greg!

  • i hawe one of this guitar, nice one to play whit.....

  • Is thet the original pickup?

  • Lovely, lovely - I like this mellow playing!

  • Lovely sound. I thought Epi Emperor fans may be interested to hear a 1980's Japanese Emperor, through a Lanaey 15 tube amp, the guitar has chrome flat-wounds.

  • Sounds great. Is that the stock pickup? I've often been attracted to the Epiphone Jazz boxes. The last one I played was a MIK Joe Pass. I thought it sounded GREAT until I plugged it in. Then I didn't care for the Epi p'ups in it, but really did think it sounded very good acoustically. I might have considered buying it but they wanted $600+tax which I thought was bit much for "used". I do wonder about MIK vs the new MIC when it comes to the Jazz boxes. Maybe that would have been worth it

  • Well, very tasteful playing, you won't mind me saying...

Is that a standard "cheap" Korean Epiphone? sounds great.
