Libertarian Eric Sundwall is running for U.S. Congress!!! The seat is the 20th District of the State of New York!!! This is a special election to fill the unexpired term of Kirsten Gillibrand. This is necessary because she was appointed to fill the U.S. Senate seat of Hillary Clinton, who was appointed U.S. Secretary of State. This election will be on Tuesday March 31st!!! By winning, he would make American history, by becoming the first Libertarian 'ever' elected to U.S. Congress!!!!!!!!!
We've got the personal secession and private nukes spot in the wings. Lost the guns and dope take in a hunting accident . . .
Of course this was made in 2006 in anticipation of a series of different spots, but ballot access and all being what it is in NY . . . we never made the rest.
The video manages to hold my attention, but seems to send a mixed signal. It doesn't explain why voting for Eric isn't a shot in the dark. Also, it wasn't until my fifth viewing or so that I noticed that the last dart-thrower is refusing a blindfold, rather than just taking one off.
As a Libertarian, my biggest problem with this video is that nowhere in its 30 seconds does it spend any time or screen space promoting liberty or the Libertarian brand.
I voted Libertarian in 2004, what a waste that was. Even with my litany of griefs against Bush I just wish I had pulled the lever for him just because I hate the people that hate him.

There is no such thing as a wasted vote. You vote for who you want, even if that person will not win, as was the case for McCain.
