The 240 has really long gears since it only goes up to 110 ish so yes the 240 would win off the line but has almost no top end and that's where vtec comes in handy. Anyways can your civic drift??? I DONT THINK SO!!

@xmrcool360 no one cares s2000 was made to drift and all u have to do is grab a civic wagon . the prelude was like the competitor of the 240 and look how many generations the prelude went on for exactly !

I raced a 1990 240SX (sohc) with my 2000 4dr CIVIC DX (non-vtec 106hp) He had intake and cat back system, I had a intake, racing wires, and stock exhaust. We both had 17 inch rims. We raced 1/4 at the track, off the line i was always a cars length ahead and he would slowly pull on me, we both won a coupe races but i beat his best time down the 1/4 mile by a half second. His best time was 16.7xx and i ran 16.2xx. Its not anything fast both but we both ran more than 10 passes. GO FAMILY SEDAN!
