Powerplay@Willowbank 21may2011 Cruize in XR6 Turbo

XR6 Turbo cruises around Willowbank . Came off the dyno the day before but on the day we were down a heap of power when the vacuum hose came off the blow off valve. Would have eaten the cobra and would have been a good race with the Evo at the end. NEXT TIME!

Maybe i was a little over velous on my comments, However you did write 'you would have eaten my cobra'. As you said before it is all just a bit of fun. Perhaps we could up the ante and have a side wager as to who will eat who on the drag strip. Sorry for the chump comment, after all we are all motor enthusiasts

hey its all good mate its a beast of a car you got! its definately the best cobra iv seen. Im not one to wage what i cant afford cause i got my own hobbies needs 1st (R1 turbo be ready setember) but i still think johns xr6 turbo will suprise, hey thats just my opinion and i have eaten my words once before LoL. It will be interesting all the same so we'll have to wait and see

Yeah your cobra did win! We had a look at it parked up and took some pics,very nice! Why start throwing CHUMPS around? We never disputed winning, clearly the vid shows!!! We didnt jump the line,we just started infront but you caught up,yeah? We blew a hose and didnt realise so it was down quite a bit of power. We got a couple more things sorted out since then. Haha you will need to hook that Nos up for next session cause ya gunna need it joe! Until next time...

last time i saw this cobra on the dyno it did a 870rwhp, no nitrous. once batec is sorted you are lookin at over 1000hp in a 1000kg car. mmm a hp per kilo would be nice. this means ya gotta get 1700hp in the xr6 to be in the same power to weight.....not like you can get 335's tyres on a xr6 tho.

I don't think that i saw your car or raced it, otherwise i would have been in this video as well, but i also got blown away by a xr6 turbo that made 510rwhp as mine makes 630rwhp, but it is a ute with a harrop supercharger. One thing i learnt on the day was it was all about having fun. Wheelspinning in third, trying to get traction and getting beaten by other cars or beating other cars.
