  • @Lumotaku Parts costs were twice as much too on the rice burners. Datsun was a very unreliable car in 1976 marked as one of the worst in car history next to a Yugo or Fiat.

  • can you imagine being seen in one of those

  • just like my wagon very neat to see the commercial

  • Talking cat FTW!

  • Love that ding bat. LOL

  • Did the Mercury Bobcat blow up on rear impact like the Ford Pinto did? It shared the same body shell.

  • @rrshadow2

Really? There wasnt anything better the japs had than this maybe until 1978 when the accord came out. The jap cars of the 70s rusted twice as fast as the americans and had less room

  • Watching this just reminds me why the Japanese kick our asses Hard when it came to small cars

  • The Bobcat's first year was 1974 in Canada and 1975 in the US.

  • the 1971-1980 Mercury Bobcat was assembled in

    St. Thomas, Ontario

    Edison, New Jersey

    Richmond, California
