@Chernobog2 You clearly underestimate the power of the DS. Do not forget that the backgrounds in Final Fantasy 7 are pre-rendered. Final Fantasy 7 is very low in polygons count.

if they did put FFVII on the DS the menus would be on the bottom screen. they might also "chibify" the battle models in order to save polygons.
