Japanese people call it Uni and eat the sea urchin roe as a delicacy. It's one of my favorites and I think I like Aya's description the best. When I asked her opinion of what she thought it tasted like, her reply was "sexy" Heh, I like that. Well, I went to King Harbor Pier this past weekend with Mia and discovered that you can buy fresh uni.... where the spines are moving as it's SooOoOOOoo ALIVE!

  • @fuduzan5562 I used to think the same way until I tried eating things like squid and octopus, don't judge food by how it looks, especially if you saw how they make things like Chicken Nuggets and other mechanicaly recovered meat products I think you would choose a sea urchin any day.

  • @ZelatorUK I would much rather that than this.

  • @TheRealestEver are you american?

  • @TheRealestEver

I don't think they do.... Mr stereotypical racist american.

  • @TheRealestEver civilized world? where is this wonderful sounding place? I would like to go there sometime

  • @twizz420 what the fuck are you on about?

  • @ZelatorUK Yeah, because obviously since you saw it on the internet, it MUST be right!

    Jackass.

  • @idunnosia how do you know what fish poop tastes like?

  • and japs wonder why the rest of the civilized world think of them as savages lol

  • Uni is one of the purest protein suppliments from this planet. As sushi on rice with soy, ginger and wasabi, it if fantastic. As a harvester I learned to eat it underwater as while checking the quality. When seeing that perfect colour and texture. It is just to good to pass up and again like said before. It is a great energy boost when harvesting them. You will probably notice in any Sushi bar if its available. Uni is the most expensive item. A good reason for that. Uni is good for you.
