Excellent slide work from Kirk Lorange, from his 1983 album 'No Apostrophe'.
This is a terrific album, and now it's available again to buy through Kirk's website http://www.kirklorange.com , and from iTunes.

  • Hey! Thanks for posting this, NocturnalVagabond ... I've been trying to find this for years now. I wished at the time that they would have left the silly story line out of it, but I had no real control ... other to insist they use my son Danny as the little boy.

I don't suppose you have 'Hooked on You'?, do you? That was the other single.

    Kirk Lorange (planetalk)

    Thanks to you too, connn2!

  • Unfortunately this was the only clip I got - I remember around the time keeping an eye out for more, and another of this one (since the TV reception that night wasn't the best). Hopefully someone else might find it though, would very much like to see it as well.

  • I believe this charted reasonably well in South & Western Australia, but radio in the eastern states pretty much ignored it. Pity.

  • Yes, Mal did the clip even though he didn't play on the track. Greg Lyon on bass; Marc Kennedy on drums; Alan Mansfield on keys; James Cox on percussion. The Train are thinking of getting back together ...
