News out today that Glencore (one of the largest companies in the world) is financing the project and I believe bought out the Chinese investment. So the whole China concern should be off the table.

why would you stop good paying jobs from comming to our area? i live in crystal. it has suffered greatly since it left. if it wasnt for industry, there would be no crystal city. in times like these, jobs are what this great nation needs. How dare you try to stop that. HOW DARE YOU!!!

You are insane! This video is one sided and only serves your personal agenda. You are new to the city and have done nothing but stir up trouble. You and your newly elected city council members should be ashamed of the fact that you are trying to stop good jobs from coming to our area. You must not be familiar with the EPA regulations that smelters must follow. I think you are more upset by the fact that you did not research your property before buying it that land has always been industrial.

First of all, I don't live in Crystal City. Second of all, what good are jobs in a dying industry that will be surpassed by clean science technology. If you want a job for the future, get educated or have your children become educated so they can take care of you. There is no future for environment polluting factories.
