  • Hello Darren... Have You gone to the Dark Side?

I'm seeing Apple Logos and hearing iLife noises...

    What's going on, Dude?

  • I keep getting no packets at step 11 in the GUI. I let it run for an hour and still nothing.

  • god damn that fucking acdc iron man 2 add..... acdc fucking sucks just like the shitty god damn movie. god fucking damn it.

  • man this is cool

  • Portal!!! no i mean Portal(s)

  • yet another way to run windoze on a usb drive is to virtualize win; you can create a VMware HDD and the virtual HDD will run perfectly on external drives, in fact in this way you can have multiple virtual machines running independently on thier own HDDs, so you have multiple hdds reading and writing at the same time and your read/write performance doesn't degrade the performance of your vm's; using multiple internal HDDs is a little better but external drives will work too...

  • yeah in fact, the reason you can install 95/98 to usb is because win 95/98 was before the usb standard; otherwise microsoft would have sure not allowed their OSs to boot to usb because that would violate the EULA; you can only have WIN installed on one machine at a time-- a usb stick would allow you to run windows on multiple machines; an internal HDD using the SATA bus is still going to be faster than an external usb HDD but usb2.0 is damn fast and will run OSs with little noticable difference!
