Entry to riff competition. Drum track is Rob's. I doubled the guitar, added a tiny solo guitar in the background and gave it a bass line. I am "pick sync-ing" the video. My gear: PRS 250SC, TonePort UX2, MacBook Pro with Logic 9, Stingray bass. I know my face looks stupid when playing :O)

Play loud with proper stereo speakers or headphones! :O))

no, you just need a pc that is good enough to run it properly. afaik, the toneport essentially is an external sound card, so the actual sound card of your comp does not matter.

Yes, I would absolutely recommend the UX2. I think that at the price you will have a hard time finding anything that sounds better and is more versatile. You can also do decent recordings with it.

Damn such killer riff dude...btw does this toneport sound any good with stereo speakers?? or is it better with standard pc speakers??, i mean can i connect stereo speakers as a sound output, thanks in advance..

hi, thanks for your comment.

you'll need an amp (or use the built in head phone preamp). best to just hook up your stereo to your computer or use the computers speakers, but you cannot directly hook stereo speakers to the toneport.
