Annihilation Marauder PvP First Impressions - Tacitus - SWTOR

Here is my initial reaction to the Annihilation talent spec for the Sith Warrior Marauder class. The Annihilation spec is geared more for small fights: 1v1, 1v2, 2v2 fights. It provides a much higher survivability than the other specs because of the health gained from talents. The bad thing about it is you won't see huge numbers, burst, or high damage at the end of the match. Getting your Solo Kill medal is pretty easy though ;D.

Hey just to let you know your vids are amazing and i heart them , also you should make them more often that is if you have the time. i was wondering did you just quest to 50 or use techniques to get there? <3

@RepublicDomo <3 Thanks! Yeah I need to upload more vids. I will get right on that. I did mostly questing to 50. I wanted to get the full questing experience so that on future characters I wouldn't feel like I was missing out if I didn't quest but instead used an alternate means such as PvP to level. I am glad I did it that way too, there are a lot of really fun quests on the planets! <3 -Tacitus

Power or Crit with this spec? I've been Rage since level one so I have stacked crit. Now I'm 50 and wanna try something new.

@oifwarveteran I think both would be benficial, Power being slightly more beneficial. If you stack a bit more power your bleeds will do a bit more damage, and since there are talents to make them crit more often Power or Surge Rating would probably benefit the spec most. -Tacitus

@kirby1034 Quite possibly. The thing is Rage gets most of its damage from Smash, which hits more than one person. So your damage could be buffed because you are hitting 3 or 4 people for large hits at the same time instead of just one person. Those big hits are way nice though for sure. -Tacitus

i started anni and recently switched to rage which has made a huge improvement on my end game damage in WZs. do you think anni is more gear dependant than rage?
