997tt vs 996gt2 would be a good race.new 997 has turbine variable geometry..less turbo lag.996 gt2 was in 2 versions 462 and 483hp,and 1430kgs.993gt2 had 430,then 450hp,(porsche constantly improving their cars)and because of only 1295kgs it had better 0-60mph(3,7 not 3,9).the 997tt has 1560 kgs,but there are optionals:
Porsche Ceramic brakes (PCCB): approx 20kg saving over steel
HRE wheels (P40s): approx 5kg saving over OEM
Cargraphic Exhaust: approx 5kg saving over OEM
