  • This error should have never been held over his head. He didn't do it on purpose. Now he's forgiven? After Boston wins 2 world series? The forgiveness and love is conditional for most of the people in Boston. Its all over the world as well. That's sad. He should have been forgiven a long time ago. All of you Buckner bashers turned Buckner forgivers on opening day 2008 are fakes.

  • the guy's been through enough shit since 1986, he should be the one forgiving the media for the hell they put him through

  • @dfrostelmo41 Cubs win World Series?Surely you jest.

  • This was a good idea, because it brought out some good luck for another team from the NL East to win it all...Thank you sox for sucking Tampa's cock and thank you for the good Karma to come to the Phillies...

  • The thing is, they could've gone to an 11th inning if he hadn't errored, and they still could've won. However, he still errored, and Knight ran home.

  • Thats fucking funny ass shit your a genius

  • Buckner lost his car dealership in Idaho. He's had a tough time. His partner killed himself after allegations of embezzling.

  • did you know that buckner was wearing a cubs batting glove under his mitt when he let the ball through his legs in the 1986 world series?

    that's a fact.

    GO WHITE SOX!

  • I guess he's forgiven??

Maybe when we win the World Series again we can get Kevin Brown, Randy Johnson, or hey, even Carl Pavano to throw out the first pitch! lol

  • No, but I think the Marlins wanted to rename their stadium "Bartman Field".
