yeah I took to writing short stories instead because I always stuff up long novels.

so for an extra cheat i was at school this whole time so I just hand wrote most of my words in a notebook then typed them, so I could say I wrote double.

I said double because it takes longer to write than to type, AND because I had to read each word, look up at the computer screen, type in the words then look back down and find my place all over again!

and I don't think it matters if you don't get 50k as lon

@wmgirl100 Calm down. Taking the pressure off always helps me. You don't really HAVE to finish- do as much as you can. But also, @NaNoWordSprints on twitter helped me get from 8,000 to 13,000 words this evening :D

my first year, 3330. WHAT DO I DO!!!! My best friend (who is a potter obssessed fan like me) is over 10000! has anybody ever been this far behind? im in 7th grade, and don't have a break or anything - can i finish in time?!?!?!?
