I think boys are mean because they are afraid of their own feelings and it is easier for them to avoid their feelings by pushing the girl away. Also, boys don't really understand what a girl needs yet, so just be patient, they do grow up and some figure it out. You will find a great guy, just hang in there.

Well for the good guys out there, being nice isn't enough. You have to be confident and in charge. Take the lead. For her it has a lot more to do with how you carry yourself and how she FEELS when she is with you than how you look (but be well-groomed). Girls fall for the bad guys because they mix up being confident and in-charge with being mean and a douche-bag. And guys mix that up too. Being confident and in control takes work and experience to achieve. Being a douche is for the simpletons.

Nice guys don't always get the girls.Can you tell me why a girl goes back to a guy who hurt her ,treat her like dirt then say he loves her?How does the word "Love" stand for anything,After all that? Good topic don't you think? While the good guy sometimes goes unnoticed. and what type of need do you mean?I'm a guy and most of my friends only "need" a girl as in sex and to be seen with.
