  • If this movement ...does not make you weep ...from the moment the piano makes its first entry...then I dare say you have no soul at all and are in fact a rock......magnificent....this is what I want to hear playing when I am on my death bed....

  • Beautiful. Music to uplift the soul. One of Chopins nicest concertos !!!

Chopin bedankt...

  • Just sublime, so beautiful.

  • @EatssRainbows Yes indeed I am fully aware of the two of them, and have played both of them over the past 60 years.

  • this is gonna take a damn long time to learn

  • @steinwaygrande1 he only had two

  • I recently turned down the opportunity to conduct this concerto because I thought it would be a waste of the orchestra's time, no matter how brilliant the soloist.

  • Why is there even an orchestra there? Chopin routinely abuses the orchestra so completely that its inclusion is practically ignorable; even the most totally second-rate group can toss off the accompaniment to a Chopin concerto on half a rehearsal (although coordinating entrances, particularly in cadenzas, is quite tricky). A good orchestra is simply wasted on Chopin, though. Of course, I too have no soul, as I did not weep at the piano's entrance, so take my words as you will.

  • My favourite part: 4:03

    Its so dramatic

  • tubo muchos errores el pianista :o
