Lyrics:

Unconscious, conscious
Your mind is trapped, your body is free
A senseless life in silence
Your eyes are closed, yet you see

Within your personal world you see
a realization of what could be my soul
or is it just my fantasy?

A timeless world unreal

Reach out for all you can not feel
Things you have seen
at places that you have never been
Invision what turns out to be
a part of life's history
Flashbacks of things to come
Past and future are on

Mind Reflections
Mind Reflections

Roam into the nowhere of pleasure
Behold through your inner eyes

Experiences of human nature
appear on the screen of imagination
Seen by the restless mind
The source of subconscious visions

  • i was going to order the new morbid angel cd until i heard how shit it is. i need to replace my vinyl spheres instead

  • @eon14873 Wait, were you actually hoping for something decent? Seriously, upon hearing Heretic you could tell that Trey has already run out of ideas. And upon seeing Dave's new goth-like look you could tell his reacceptance into the band was going to do the rest. I can say the industrial songs were something I surely didn't expect either tbh, but the few Morbid Angel sounding songs that were in it were just plain generic and annoying.

  • @KillerMetalUploads well I did become worried when read some of the song titles "too extreme!" "I am morbid" etc. Oh well fuck it I have doctrine to listen to, Dont know if you have heard martriden but they are pretty fucking cool

  • @eon14873 In all honesty I didn't like Doctrine... at all. I think the biggest mistake for Pestilence was to reform simply because there was no reason for them to do so, especially without Van Drunen. Mameli has clearly lost any passion he had for metal music.

  • @eon14873 Anyway, thanks for the recommendation, I'll look that band up because it's the first time I hear that name.

Now, if you want a 2010/2011 release that actually breaks new ground you definitely HAVE to listen to "The Destroyers of All" by Ulcerate. "Atmospheric technical death metal" as somebody labelled them.

  • Those who talk about pestilence and praise VanDrunen all the time know knothing about the music of pestilence. Yes, VanDrunen is on my top 5 vocalists ever but fuck off and gimme a break. Mameli's compositions are untouchable by the 95% of the music of the scene. Only death, atheist, nocturnus and m.a. were writing similar music at those prime times. Learn to recognize, admit and NOT FORGET what an artist offered dogmatic suckers or else go and listen to rap stuff which deal only with vocals.

  • Philosophy aggressiveness, not that cliche satanic

  • There were actually quite a few death bands writing off time signature compositions to name a few Gorguts,Disincarnate,Broken Hope,Brutality just to name a few. This song is musically awesome,I thought this album when it was released was going to be recognized as great but I thought that about Coroners' epic release "Mental Vortex"too but hey people are trendy and dumb I mean look at all the metalcore and emo fans.People like trends and clicks more than music except for real musicians and fans.

  • My second favorite death metal band, behind the DEATH itself only. Nuff said

  • Asphyx is really cool. only band i like in the genre. and in death metal i only like Death and pestilence, cannibal corpse and dying fetus kinda shit is to brutal for me and sounds like ASS

  • Jesus... it sounds like a little motorheadian with an (Obituary) John Tardyesque vocal... Sounds cool.

  • @KillerMetalUploads I wouldn't say Mameli lost passion for metal music. Doctrine has memorable moments.

  • This album is what voivod would sound like if a dm band

  • this album is like a sagra di paese ,abbastanza noioso direi.

  • @pepepotamo89 No, not really.

  • Death Metal.

  • @KillerMetalUploads i agree heritic completely SUCKED, there was only like 2 or 3 good riffs and the rest of it was jumbled and generic

it was horribly dissapointing because the previous album was absolutely superb
