hey socrat, newsflash-under Bush unemployment went as low as 4.9%. The IRS collected record revenues after the tax cut was kicked in. The Fannie/Freddie mortgage disaster crashed the economy. This program started by Carter, amped up by Clinton and supported by ACORN was based on the dems 'golly gee whiz would it be nice if everyone could own a house'. The reps tried to stop it in 2006 but did not have the votes. So Obama inherited a mess that his party started.
