  • I want one but why in the world would someone spend over $200 or even $100 on a doll? I mean I buy the smaller ones that go around $21-26 without tax but why would you spend so much money on a doll when you are a adult?

Not trying to bash on anyone at all just really wondering about that :/

  • @MsTentacleRape Very good question. This is a hobby, and like most hobbies they come at a price. There are some people that even go as far as collecting cars which are thousands of dollars. Why do they do it? Because it is something that they enjoy and have a passion for. My belief is as long as it is not harming anyone and it doesn't warp your sense of reality, then it is perfectly fine. As far as people collecting these "dolls" as an adult, they really aren't your typical dolls are they?

  • @AsenvaBJD They are way different from your run of the mill, mass produced barbie doll. These dolls are hand made to order and are highly customizable, which is also why they are so expensive. Adult, teen, kid, whoever buys them are able to bring to life a character of their own. That is really cool isn't it? So adult or whoever, it is appealing to all ages, which is awesome! I hope this answers your questions :D Thanks for watching!

  • ELASTIC FUNNESS! :D

  • The 40,50 and 60cm Obitsus are actually not off-topic on DoA, only the smaller "fashion doll"-type Obitsu dolls are. :-)

  • @blibz OMG You are totally right ;) I looked it up right now and I thought they were but you are right :D it is just the smaller scaled ones :D thanks so much!
