If Ali got hit by even 1/4 of the shots Frazier hit him with, he'd have been knocked out. He could never stay on the ropes either, even shots on the arm from Marciano destroyed guys, and Ali complained, even at 45, he'd go home with bruised arms from Marciano.
You never know who'd win between guys, but it wouldn't be an easy fight for Ali. That we know.

What? Charles didn't move, didn't jab and only countered. Ali would have stuck that left in Rocky's face the entire night, cutting him and ending it on a TKO.

@Solowizard maybe so, but he (in my opinion) had a much bigger heart than Tyson, and a much better chin

There's been lots of comparisons throughout the years. Marciano was a beast, but he never looked as invincible as primed 1980s MIke Tyson. Rocky seem to have always took as good as he gave.

The Rock was best when faced with adversity. I think he would've beaten any fighter in history on this night, with this (nose) injury. There was never a more determined Champion!!!

@MikeJS57 ---Ezzard Charles was a great underrated fighter. Onr of his early opponents died after a fight, and rumor is that Ezzard would hold back a little in his power punches. Had power and great boxing ability
