Save me from ignorance, when Sinatra sings " especially when you do the Continental" on his song " I won't dance". Does he refers to this song?. Thanks in advance.

This was one amazing jazz quintet! All giants in their own right, George and Chuck were grand masters! What a sound!

My Mum and dad had this record. I seem to remember a lovely one chord mambo on the b side called "Down Cuba Way" or something like that.

Mr Shearing played to the delight of many at a small garden party in Alamo Ca In the early seventy's ,I was one of the select few to attend.I have been a fan ever since.!

やった！パラマウント・ニュースですね。シアリング以上に感動しました。あの竹脇昌作氏のニュース原稿を読む物まねが得意でした。それはともかくシアリングも大好きですよ勿論！

パラマウント・ニュースのシャレ、理解いただける方がいらっしゃって安心しました（笑）
私が物心ついた頃は竹脇昌作氏は既にいらっしゃらなかったのが残念ですが、あのスピードがありながらクールなトーンによる語りはニューズリールの一つの規範となるものでしたね。
あ、シアリングのことを忘れてました（笑）
