A short while after my sister passed away, I played Final Fantasy 6.
Locke was always my favorite while a kid. I'm now 21. After being told his story little by little, and then finally listening to this song, I cried real tears.
She died nearly the same way. The guilt and regret for not protecting her...never thought
I could relate to bunch of pixels like that.
This game is the example of what a masterpiece should be defined as.

Thank you, man. This made my day.

You've got a fantastic tone (easily one of the best playing video game music on YouTube) and I love your taste in music. This one in particular is really inspiring. It's a perfect match between instrument and song ... not that I'm biased because Locke is my favorite character or anything.

What key is your flute in? I want to get one just so I can play FF and Jethro Tull!

Whoa... I was half expecting you to start beat-boxing. Good job though, a very good version!

@PassingSquall It's Locke's girlfriend. This plays while she passes away, and you then get the Phoenix esper. At least I think I am remembering that correctly, it's been quite some time since I have played through the game:)

Excellent job, you certainly have a gift with the flute and I enjoyed your rendition very much.

Nice work man. Flute is definitely the instrument of choice for this song. Too many videos of piano play on this.
You should repost with just you and no back up midi. It would sound cleaner IMO.

Thank you for the kind words:) If I were to do this again without the MIDI backup, would you want to hear reverb with it?:)
