Dear people: Chinese weightlifters start training at 7 years old. All of them grow normally, none of them have back injuries.
China always beats everybody in every weight class they compete in. Wonder why?
BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT DOUCHES WHO GET WORKED UP EVERY TIME ANY LITTLE THING THAT IS EVEN SLIGHTLY OUT OF THE FUCKING NORM HAPPENS.

@DebunkingYourOpinion Your right on the first but squats are not healthy for a child of that age especially all the pressure it is putting on the spine.
-
@vtmike13 cause the bar hurts when its on your neck, if you have heavy weight then its gonna do that (this is heavy weight for his age)
-
see him grabbing his neck after that attempt? that's not good
-
una verguenza que un padre utilice asi a un chico

@DebunkingYourOpinion exercises that put pressure directly down on the spine MAY stunt growth slightly, only the distance between each vertebra.
-
@chriskout it wont stunt growth, thats never EVER been proven. but yes he could get some injuries here and there. although childrens bodies are pretty resilient, itd be no worse than putting your kid in football or hockey or wrestling or boxing etc. any contact sport is gunna result in a hell of alot worse than this

@TheBoomboomboomboomb ahh i knew as soon as i clicked on this video id have to educate a few fucktards. no, lifting weights as a kid has NEVER been proven to stunt growth or prematurely close growth plates. there have been absolutely NO studies proving this. the body of a child cannot support weights heavy enough to cause anything like that to happen

Dad seam like he is super nice but sekretly crazy

@matiask0rN dude squatting with weight on your shoulders is not healthy especially for a boy this young it is pushes down your spinal cord which makes you stunt your growth. How about you get your facts right.
There is a reason gyms don't let under 16 touch weights!

@RealisticSports you are right, partly.
but, just think of this: this is a boy, his body structure is now developed, bones, muscles and everything. putting him under all that pressure, is a huge mistake. he will be very very lucky if he get at the age of 30 without having any problems at his knees or back. not to mention that he will probably won't grow the height he was meant to.
and, because of his age, he can't understand these effects. but his dad, knows...
