The guy in red is applauding until the head shot. Which means he doesn't realise that there 's a shooting in progress. Plus he is on the grassy knoll, with the two men. At this point two shots have been fired . If they were shot from the picket fence they would have reacted already. Conclusion: Oswald did it. Case closed.

The man in the red shirt is the man who fired the head shot. The two men next to him are his guards. The shooter uses a hand gun rather than a rifle so he won't be too obvious because he's out in the open. You can see that he's holding a black object in his left hand. He moves his gun out of firing position just after he shoots Kennedy, and Kennedy's head jerks back at the same moment. He then checks to make sure he hit his target and turns around and flees the scene of the crime.
