It started raining,
in a place where the sky never changes
as if to say that
it's okay to cry.

So what? I miss you.
But that doesn't make me weaker.
Might even argue,
that emotions make you strong.

CHORUS: So the lie ran away with the crock
and the truth searched for shelter
but found no lock.
It seemed the cheat ran away with the key-
and so is the story of dignity.

The leaves were falling
when you made my world shake from beneath me.
I never figured that'd be that easy to drift.

So I sang love songs
but they all sounded wrong fro some reason
I guess-
and I fixed all the lyrics
but I can't fix this mess
anymore...

The snow was heavy
somewhere else,
but here it was colder.
There's no denying
how it feels when your whole body stops.

life exists after everything blackened.
And though it's over,
it's the same as it all was before.

The puddles lessen
and it feels like I may make it through this.

now I realize that I deserve more.
