Can anyone tell me how the low end sizes up compared to the RP5s. I was blown away by the 5" model but the bass response rapidly declined below a certain frequency. Is there less of that problem with this model? How much of an improvement does the subwoofer make? Thanks for any help.

@elliotnicklin The 8" is louder, and plays lower. I think the RP5's roll off around 55hz, and the 8" roll off at 40hz. When I had the RP8's they sounded like I had a sub in the room, as with the RP5's they were missing the low end.

Is this Bass 305? Or X-Treme Bass? I used to own this cd...I can't find it anymore. :'(
