  • Dear English speaking folks: Logically you have been made a wee bit lazy because of English being an international language. Being Dutch I was raised with the idea that speaking a foreign language is a must. Therefore we have a totally different look at speaking multiple languages. It makes us "men of the world". So are the English and Americans as long as everyone speaks English.. I'm not being judgemental, but arriving in a foreign country and speaking that language honestly shows respect!

  • he has nothing intelligent to say but he can say it in three languages...

My dear sir you do not need to tell me the language of my birth, I honour and revere it.

What else can one do with the organ that provided the inspiration and was the servant of Chaucer, Shakespeare, Dryden, Donne, Keats, Wordsworth, Shelley, Dickens, Austin, Hardy, Thackery and the Bronte's?

As to being a virgin I deserve neither such criticism nor such praise.

  • @briefboyz I'm English and you can call it what you want it's the English language that you speak .. virgin.

  • @LondonIrishRover

Surely it is incumbent on those who invite foreign visitors to their country that they speak the language of the people they are inviting to visit them.

For instance, italians do not advertise on British TV in Italian for the British to visit Italy.

  • @parasean22

I don't understand the meaning of your words. This could be because you are not English as evinced by your error in spelling the word, 'no' or because I cannot see your arms flapping as you try to communicate.

Try turning the caps lock on this may help you be understood.

  • @briefboyz nooo you speak English :L

  • @Millbrook1974

You can only say that if you can speak every language of the world.

  • Holy smokes! His German is bloody excellent! My respect.

  • @briefboyz Signed !
