OK, when I first saw this movie I hated it. I thought it was the worst, most incoherent pile of pretentious nonsense I'd ever seen. However, I saw it again on TV recently and I realised I was so, so wrong. In fact I was so wrong I've just bought the DVD. I don't know how to describe it. In fact that's a similar sentiment to what Jackman himself said in an interview: it just "connected" with me somehow.

When a film can bring you to tears, and you're not quite sure why... Is truly a beautiful thing. I have a feeling this movie will stand the test of time.
