Some cute and easy pieces from an anonymus manuscript for the 11course baroque lute from the Warszawa Nat. Libr. i copied by hand in summer 1971 ... now playing on the Theorbo in d (Renatus Lechner 2007).
Siegfried Andreae - Theorbo in d
Due to it´s mild sound at low frequencies and the richness of overtones, Theorbo music has a positive effect on personnel well-being (music for relaxation, not making you sleepy).
The videoclip allows an impression of some winter beauties (flowering Cymbidium orchids) in one of our glass houses, thus we don´t need a flower shop at this time ;-)) .
Nice piece and playing!

Hi Trond,
i gratefully estimate your kind comment, as I did learn a lot about the expression of french style lute music not only from MJ, also from your interpretations here on YouTube.
not all is perfect, but my fingers gradually begin to follow the thoughts ;-))).
Best regards - Siegfried
