  • This video is so beautiful. As I sit here..overdue..waiting for my little one to decide to come earthside.. I found this song fit perfectly with what I needed to hear. I am sorry for your loss of your girls but rejoice with you that you found your joy again with your son Lyric. Thank you for sharing.

  • Thank you for your wonderful words. I posted this for my ICAN group and never expected total strangers to be still honoring the loss of my girls and rejoice with me in the birth of my son. And, I completely understand the waiting. Little Lyric came at 42 weeks to the day, 4 days LATER than I went into labor with my first baby. You will have your little one in you arms soon. I know with this one I jsut wanted to know he/she was here, safe and healthy Be well. Blessings to you and your family.

  • do you have video of the birth. it was beautiful.

  • i decided not to do video of my birth. I wanted to really BE in the moment and remember it as it was for me, not how I viewed it later. I don't know if that makes sense to you. I think that is why creating this video was so wonderful. To try and capture what it was for us.

  • Beautiful video....Im 27 weeks , planning a VBAC. I lost 2 babies also so I can sympathize, Im sure your beautiful lil angel daughters were looking over their baby brother.

  • YOU CAN DO IT!! I'm a part of ICAN (you're familiar with them?) and it has been such an inspiration watching these other amazing women heal from their cesareans and trust their bodies to do what they are made to do. After this experience I told them " i just wish this for everyone". It is how birth was meant to be, so beautiful, so peaceful. Sending you good birthing vibes and wishing your baby a beautiful entry into this world!

  • That was beautiful!

  • That was beautiful even without the audio. Made me cry.

  • That was beautiful... Your children are gorgeous :)

We are TTC #2, my son had to be born by emergency c-section as he was extremely sick and never expected to live so i am very hopeful of a vaginal birth with #2.

Do you mind me asking how you lost ur little angels? Was it miscarriage with twins?

Thanks for sharing this very moving video with us all :)

  • I watch this video over and over. This song helps me so much to visualize my upcoming homebirth, I am due in a few days and I am so empowered by your beautiful video. Thank you for sharing and congratualtions!

  • Someday when I am married and get pregnant, before I have my baby,I will watch this video and listen to this song over and over again until this baby is coming, I will know how peaceful a homebirth is. This is the most wonderful video ever! Oh by the way, congratulations on the baby. Hope you and your husband are doing great with your new baby!

  • beautiful. I am gearing toword my Labor day and you have giving me soo much inspiration. Thank you!

  • Thank you.. I am deeply moved by you're beautiful and courageous birth. I am preparing myself for a home birth in a few months and am left inspired by you're experience x

  • I didn't get my homebirth, but when I pushed my baby out (BREECH!) this song was playing in my head as I found the courage to tell that fear mongering OB to be quiet and get out of my face so I could push my baby out without hearing her words of fear and death. My baby girl is healthy and strong; I don't regret anything. I am so thankful I allowed labor to unfold the way it needed to. I just want to thank you again for sharing your birth in such a beautiful way with all of us.

  • I sat here crying through this x x

  • Wow... I am due today, and I've been reading a labor guide which linked to this video. How incredibly beautiful. I love that song anyway, and now it has a whole new meaning. Thank you for sharing your labor and birth and inspiring me as I near mine!
