Slow cooking a variety of apples, sugars and balanced spices for hours results in the best apple butter ever! Sweet and thick just like good, old fashioned apple butter should be!

This apple butter recipe is super easy to make. It does take some time (24 hours to be exact!) but here's where the crock pot comes in handy! You still get that old fashioned taste without having to turn on the stove-top.

Spread on toast, biscuits, bagels, pancakes, etc.

  • omg 20 hours!! i guess its worth the wait!

  • @foxyvixen19 yep! It really doesn't seem like that long at all when you do it in the crock pot. I just let it cook over night and then all day the next day. I stir it when I think about it.
