My favorite part was when Jacob was drowning Ricardo. Not many people know this but there was a story of Socrates when a man came to him seeking information. Socrates did the exact same thing, and nearly drowned the man to death. In short, this was a turning point when the man became enlightened and I like how they incorporated that story into the show.

One question though (not related with the last episode). How on hell Sawyer got out of Jacob's cave when he had broken off the ladder on his way down? Will we find out later in the season that he can actually fly?

hahaha. that's a great question! i hadn't really thought about it. maybe, MIB turned into the smoke monster and carried sawyer up the cliff? lol. either way, i don't think we are ever going to find out.

havent you seen the symbolic scales in the cave where "lock" with sawyer? There needs to be a balance between good and evil. Jacob is dead. he needs someone who is good incarnate, one candidate that cannot be tempted to take over. and bring balance again to keep the evil from spreading.
