Most of these are from a practice back in July. I did play with some photo editing features, my favourite ones are the blurry ones which came out that way due to incorrect shutter speed. The last ones are old photos I added to give this thing some length.
I am going to be posting my splits progress starting very soon. Since I have not been on the pole very much at all this summer, I have lost a lot of pole strength and flexibility including my splits : (
I know many other polers have had issues with getting the splits so I'd like to share my technique as I get mine back!
I use Yamuna Ball Rolling to gain flexibility, restore muscle balance and reduce pain, it is wonderful to passively stretch muscle. I have a lot of scar tissue in my hamstrings and during my 7 years as a yoga teacher, I was never able to do hanumanasana or the splits but since I've learned Yamuna I can - as long as I stick to it. I think Yamuna Ball Rolling can help many pole dancers, yogis/yoginis (or anyone) out there who wants to achieve this much sought after pose.

great montage; esp like the back lit ones. the one where you are petting your cat whilst you are inverted is esp. natural and pretty!
