ESEE Nylon Sheath for ESEE5

This is the latest accesory from the ESEE range of products. When the ESEE5 first came out, it came with a cordura sheath made by eagle. It was seen at the time as one of the sheathing system around for such a large fixed blade.

Being made of 1095 carbon still this type of system had its limit though and it also was difficult for Eagle to supply the necessary volumes all the time, slowing down deliveries. ESEE then decided to equip the Five with a Kydex system that would be lighter, more compact and easier to keep the knife dry.

Later on they added the options of a Nylon MOLLE Back system that could also be pimped up with an optional front pocket. This latest system is the best of both worlds, giving the option carry of the Cordura's sheath AND the versatility and ease of maintenance of the Kydex.

Despite this new system being better, there were nostalgics of the Eagle sheath that demanded something similar. This nwe products is the answer to their prayers. Simple, well done, with a plastic sheath inside allowing drainage of water out, MOLLE carry capacity, belt carry capacity, it even comes with a leg strap. This is a good alternative to the MOLLE Back + Pocket option and it comes in three different colours: Black, OD and Khaki.

Ce modele me plaît! Car comme tu sais je fait parti de ceux qui n'étaient pas très fan de l'étui d'origine et surtout des attaches du ESEE 5 , du coup avec le molle back et cet étui cordura c'est que du bonheur pour les utilisateurs:) Merci pour cette revue

A ce jour pas de plan de les adapter a d'autres modeles, ceci dit la modification ne doit pas etre tres compliquée. Le 6 est trop long par exemple et du coup les straps ne sont pas bien placés. Mais a voir ;)
