This scene is so horrible and yet so perfect at the same time.
It's horrible because Mamoru is making the worst decision possible in his attempt of protecting Usagi.
It's perfect because of how the scenario is put together. The animation, the music, the voice acting, the sheer emotion of it all... it makes it, in my opinion, one of the best scenes in all of Sailor Moon.
Just look at the expression on Usagi's face at 1:03 and listen to the music that goes with it... breaks my heart every time.
