what books did use for reference while doing all the work on the boat. I am doing a project on an i/o wellcraft airslot 1976 and am needing a book on the boat not the motar.

wait a minute wasnt it 7 degrees? , doesn't the "glass epoxy need like a degree of 30 degrees , now the water stays in the layers = osmose

@AweSomo84 Any of the epoxy work I've done has been in the 70s to 80s. Well within the 7-30Celcius range.

nice job!!! I'm doing a restoration project myself atm , bought a boat with a friend , a dory dell quay 17
I hope you can start rebuilding again really soon so i can check it before i start :D
i'm kinda thinking of replacing the wood from the transom part with alluminium do u think it would be a wise thing to do ?

I don't know about the aluminium..I think the expantion/contraction rate might be different than the epoxy/glass and the bond between the two during stress might pop. You could always back up the finished transom with an alum strip to displace the pull on the bolts. Good luck and show me how yours is going when you get to it.
