Syria has been suffering from the tyrannical rule of the Al-Assad family & the Baath Party for practically 50 years! That’s 50 years of massacres, arbitrary detentions, glorification of the Al-Assad family, stagnation & corruption. The two-month unarmed revolution has been faced with tremedous barbarity from the regime’s side.

The people of Jisr Al-Shugur (Syria) have painted one of the city’s plazas with a message that reads: “There’s no emirate of the Muslim Brotherhood Party nor a Salafi emirate in Jisr Al-Shugur. It’s a people’s revolution”.The message is meant to counter the tyrannical Syrian regime’s pretext for attempting to make any possible military raid on the city– a pretext it has used repeatedly b4 in its rhetoric whenever it had attempted to crush the next centre of the Syrian revolution
