This great song was sung by the iconic Hussain Ni'ma (حسين نعمة). Its arguably one of the most popular ever in my Baghdad..
The lyrics speak loud of a sweet iraqi love story where one goes to market not for shopping, but in hope to lay sight on beloved ones..
Its written in southern iraqi dialect from Nasseriya, I think.. I myself do not understand all the lyrics.. but it remains sweet nevertheless..
