It is a shame that rational voices like RP's are not the accepted tone of American politics.
Extremism (left and right) dominate the airwaves because it simulates emotional states that more and more Americans can only illicit through simulacra.
America is the most entertained nation in the world. The media plays such an important role in shaping and defining our consciousness that we dont even now how to feel unless we are told, this is why sensationalism is so successful.

The Lame Stream Media will not broadcast the revolution, but at some point they won't be able to ignore it any longer. If america attacks Iran we need to revolt! It is unconstitutional & govt should be held accountable by us!

It is likely that war with Iran would be the pivotal event initiating WWIII. This means use of all world nuclear arsenals. Life as we know it on the planet would be over if war was initiated with Iran. Is war with Iran worth it?????
